Originally, I'm a South Georgia girl who has been coming to Amelia Island since I was a child. I graduated from Valdosta State College with a degree in Business Education and taught school for many years. I grew up spending the summers in Fernandina Beach, and have always considered it my second home. I have always loved the island life and the people here. Years ago, I decided to make Fernandina Beach my permanent home, and I cannot think of a better place to call home.
